Gotham Footcare is seeking a professional, energetic, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our growing team in Manhattan. We are a modern podiatry practice known for combining advanced medical care with a polished, high-quality patient experience.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating an organized and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at check-in and check-out
• Answer phones and schedule appointments efficiently
• Confirm upcoming appointments and help manage the daily schedule
• Collect copays and update insurance and demographic information
• Respond to patient inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
• Coordinate communication between providers, staff, and patients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
• Assist with administrative tasks and office workflow as needed
• Help ensure patients have a smooth and positive experience from start to finish

Qualifications

• Prior medical office preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional, polished, and dependable
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Comfortable using scheduling software and EMR systems
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Strong attention to detail and punctuality
• Experience in a specialty medical office is a plus

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM
• Upper East Side location
